Bottle Drop Fundraiser
Several years ago, Ashcreek-Crestwood Neighborhood Association started a BottleDrop drive to build the benches around the playground at Smith School. That drive was successful and has continued to help pay towards the picnic and the general fund which has continued through the merger of AshCreek and Crestwood. If you would like a blue bag to collect your deposit bottles and cans please text Ben Donora at 503-312-4838 to have a couple bags delivered to you. Once your bag is full, you’ll need to take it to the BottleDrop location convenient for you. For more information – look to their website.
Friends of Woods Work Parties
Founded in September 2002, Friends of Woods Park (FoWP) is working to enhance stream health and to give people better ways to enjoy the park. Our projects have included: planting thousands of native trees, shrubs, and other flora, controlling invasive plants, implementing and maintaining a planned trail system, including bridges and turnpikes.
